Responsibilities may include:

  • Insurance verification
  • Process virtual intake of patient information
  • Schedule patient appointments

Qualifications:

  • A degree OR some units in allied medical course is preferred

Virtual Medical Biller (Open)

$1,025 to $1,075 / month
(Commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews patients bills for accuracy and completeness, and obtaining any missing information.
  • Prepares, reviews, and transmits claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing
  • Following up on unpaid claims within the standard billing cycle timeframe
  • Identifies and bills secondary of tertiary insurances.
  • Sets up patient payment plans and work collection accounts.
  • Updates billing software with rate changes

 

Qualifications:

  • A degree OR some units in allied medical course is preferred
  • At least 6 months experience as a Medical VA
  • At least 6 months experience as a CSR Familiar with EHR/EMR
  • Familiar with US Healthcare private Insurance providers (e.g. Medicaid, Medicare)
  • Familiarity with medical codes (ICD-10, CPT)

Virtual Medical Scribe (Open)

$1,200 – $1,300 / month

  • Update EHR/EMR and medical terminologies
  • Gather information for the patient’s visit
  • Partner with physician to deliver efficient patient care

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent education or work experience.
  • Professional certifications like CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA, or similar are highly desirable.
  • Proven work experience as a Website Expert or Cyber Security Specialist or similar role.
